"This was definitely an exciting win for the Rockets," coach Brian Dahl said. "The girls played an excellent second half by increasing their energy and physicality. I’m proud of the way the girls came together at half to complete the comeback." -Post Bulletin

For many of our students, today was the first time they had ever been up close to or pet a farm animal. The comments were priceless!

Red Barn Learning Farm is here today as part of our Rocket Boost! series to boost mood, connections and overall health.

Rocket Man is alive and well at JM. Keep your eyes open at school and different events to catch a selfie with Rocket Man!

Devan and Noah hard at work in Mrs. Cobb's Algebra class.

It is not uncommon to see Katrina carrying armload's of gladiolus into JM from her family farm to share with staff members. She's the best (in many ways!)!

As we wrap up this long weekend, we wanted to remind students of the importance of safety, especially as you walk or ride your bike or scooter to school. We made a video with the Rochester Police Department with a few reminders: https://youtu.be/x1kYWW081ng?si=K7MJQdDL3Jz_ybxv

“She’s one of the most versatile swimmers I’ve ever coached so it’s hard to pinpoint which ones we’re going to decide on,” first-year JM coach Lauren Kalwasinski said. -Post Bulletin

There are so many people that make up a football game.... players, coaches, cheerleaders, marching band, dance line, fans, tailgate leaders, concessions, announcers and more. Thank you everyone!

It is a gorgeous night for a football game and the fans have turned out in force to support our team!

Read about our very own John Marshall High School brothers and football standouts, Zach and Eli Ladu, in this Rochester Post Bulletin story. Visit this story: (https://www.postbulletin.com/sports/prep/football-family-are-big-big-for-john-marshalls-ladu-brothers)

Sports are wonderful way to be connected to your school. Thank you to John Bartucz and the Rochester soccer community for fundraising to support equipment needs for some of our players across all of our high schools! We can still use gently used adult size soccer cleats and shin guards, and new soccer socks. Items can be brought to JM Main Entrance. Thank you!

Thank you to JM alumni, Emma (class of '08) and her future Rockets for bringing in donations to the Community Room!

The flu vaccine will be offered at John Marshall through the School-Located Influenza Program on October 3. This program makes it easy and convenient to keep your child, the school, and the community healthy throughout the year.
The flu shot and nasal spray (FluMist®) will both be available this year.
Important information to know:
Registration is required to receive the flu vaccine.
Registration begins on August 9 and will end on September 13.
Online registration is preferred, but paper forms will be available at your child's school.
Registration forms will not be accepted after September 13.
To register online, go to semnic.org.
Non-medication pain-reducing options will be available.
Health insurance will be billed. If you don't have health insurance, your child can still get the flu vaccine at little or no cost.
Provide a reminder to your child the day before receiving the flu vaccine and have them wear clothing that allows access to the upper arm.
For more information about the School-Located Immunization Program, go to semnic.org.

Starting the day out right with a full school Pepfest!

The freshmen are spending the day learning how to navigate the halls of JM, where they go to for support, and meeting teachers, staff and friends .... all with a big infusion of Rocket Spirit. Thank you to our upper level Rocket Counselors for leading the day! You're awesome!!

Bring on the freshman!! We are so excited to see them today and have our upper level students counselors working with them!
